Sea Olympics

I’m sure for all the blog readers out there, you will find plenty of detailed posts about the Sea Olympics. I’m going to keep it short and sweet, mostly because I’m bitter that the Bering Sea tied for dead last place. Somehow, we managed to place 4^th in everything, which is pretty good out of 10 seas, except that they don’t award any points for 4^th place. The events were pretty fun though, even if we weren’t placing. Of course the highlight of the day was the lip sync, which was incredibly entertaining and all around hilarious.

The Bering Sea routine consisted of Ashley and Maddy doing Call on Me, Slava and Kyle doing the Chris Farley and Patrick Swayze Chippendales skit from SNL (funniest thing ive ever seen, EVER), and Jason dancing like a maniac to Mr. Roboto. Many other seas and sea RDs agreed that we should have taken the competition. However, the judges seemed to think that we weren’t doing too much lip syncing, though the video I have (blackmail) begs to differ. Once again we didn’t place.

The Aegean Sea took the gold overall, and I know the Baltic took the bronze, I’m unsure of silver.

The day was a lot of fun, but would’ve been a lot better if we placed a little better, but what can ya do?
